Research conducted by LinkedIn, official sponsors of the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022, showed that 76% of female professionals say relatable role models need to be more visible. With that in mind, we shone a spotlight on some of the titans of women's football, including Carol Thomas BEM, England’s first ever UEFA Women’s EURO captain, and Anette Börjesson who captained Sweden to victory in the first ever UEFA Women’s EURO.
Also photographed was Arsenal legend Rachel Yankey, Crystal Palace player Chloe Morgan, and the first captain of the Somali Women’s National Team and champion the under-represented, Iqra Ismail.
