These portraits of the revered actor Michael Sheen, were made on a hot August day in west London. The brief was to show Michael as the elder statesman, leaning into his proud Welsh heritage and referencing his decision to become a not-for-profit actor, in which he aims to plough as much of his earnings as possible back into his local community and supporting projects for homeless people, veterans, and children amongst many others.
The wardrobe choices included Welsh designers and in the one of the images shown here, Michael wears the Ddraig Goch over his shoulder.
